Elevation7 was established by building designer Mark Butler in 2002. A commitment to creating site-specific architecture through innovative design and solution-based principles has seen the practice evolve in recent years.

Mark Butler, principal of the practice is the design director on all projects. Passionate about contemporary design Mark leads the creative and consultation process, including negotiations with authorities and key stakeholders to establishing the strategic direction of the project and leading the team and coordinate consultants to realize the design from conception to completion, on time and budget.

Elevation7 operates a small boutique studio maintaining control over design and direction of the practice. The firm is flexible enough to respond to a client’s project needs with a network of experienced consultants to provide an informed design response to engineering, construction, interior design and project management. Mark manages the client brief from the outset, and is in constant consultation with staff, council and consultants to ensure a level of consistency from project inception to final design.
